Scarf Tying Guide 3♥

Fake Knot

Step1
Fold a square scarf according to straight fold (or use an oblong scarf), and let it drop down your neck equally on each side.

Step2
Make a knot on one side (A).

Step3
Bring the other side (B) towards A.

Step4
Let B pass through A to form a knot.

Step5
Tighten the knot to get a beautiful fake knot.

French Twist

Step1
Fold a square scarf into bias band fold.

Step2
Center the scarf in front of your neck. Wrap around, crossing ends behind neck and pull forward.

Step3
Tie a single knot centered underneath chin.

Step4
Twist scarf jauntily to one side of neck so that the knot is off-center.

Step5
Finish by tying a double knot and let ends hang loosely.

Gypsy

Step1
Fold a square scarf once to form a triangle.

Step2
Wrap it around your head.

Step3
Create a knot in the back, and tuck in the ends.

You are ready to go!

Head Wrap

Step1
Begin with a bias band fold on a square scarf.

Step2
Grasp both ends firmly and place the folded crease on top of head so that the fold falls near the hairline.

Step3
Bring both ends together underneath hair. Tie a single knot, making sure the scarf is taut and wrapped securely around head.

Step4
Tie into a second knot at the nape of neck and allow loose scarf ends to drape over one shoulder.

Hollywood Knot

Step1
Fold a square scarf into an oblong shape using the triangle fold.

Step2
Place the scarf around your neck; situating it so that one end is about two inches longer (A) than the other end (B).

Step3
Cross A over B and let it pass through B so that a sort of hoop is formed.

Step4
Let A pass through it again and bring it down facing forward.

Step5
Adjust your scarf by straightening the front part (A).

Voila, no one in Hollywood could tie a better knot!
