Scarf Tying Guide 2♥

Butterfly Wrap

Step1
Fold a square scarf using the bias band fold.

Step2
Let it hang around your neck with roughly one third of the scarf on one side (A) and two-thirds on the other (B), and cross these as illustrated.

Step3
Bring A upwards to make it pass through the cross so that a sort of loop is formed.

Step4
After tossing A underneath B, let it pass through a second loop again.

Step5
Pull one end firmly; your butterfly wrap is ready!

Casual Swing

Step1
Fold the square scarf according to the bias band fold. Now, fold it in half lengthwise such that both the ends are on one side (A) and the other side forms a hoop (B). Let it dangle around your neck in this format. Please refer to the illustration.

Step2
Take one end from side A and let it pass through hoop (B).

Step3
Now give the hoop one twist, and make the other end from side A pass through the empty opening in the hoop (B).

Step4
The resulting shape should be as shown in the illustration.

Crown Wrap

Step1
Drape the rectangular scarf over the head off-centered so that one end hangs much farther down the body than the other.

Step2
Gather the ends of the scarf at the nape of the neck and cross them behind the head.

Step3
Form a "rope" by twisting the longer end; then lay along the front edge of the scarf over the top of the head, approximately 1-2 inches from the edge.

Step4
Continue the twist around to meet the other, shorter, end of the scarf and knot the two ends together.

Step5
The ends can be left loose to drape over or behind the shoulder, or may be guided along the back of the head and tucked under the scarf.

Step1
Twist a folded oblong scarf as illustrated. Hang around your neck.

Step2
Allow one end to pass through the loop.

Step3
Hold both ends and twist them until they reach the collar.

Step4
Take both ends through the loop as illustrated. Adjust the ends as necessary.
La dolce vita!

European Loop

Step1
Use an oblong scarf or fold a large square scarf into a bias band fold; then fold it again to form a sort of hoop.

Step2
Let the scarf dangle around your neck with the hoop on one side of the shoulder.

Step3
Take the other two ends and pass them through the hoop to make the European Loop.

Step4
Tighten the loop to get the complete effect.
