Scarf Tying Guide 7♥

Pleated Head Band

Step1
Fold the scarf into half (in length).

Step2
Pleat the folded scarf lengthwise. For neater look, press the pleats.

Step3
Place across front of head.

Step4
Tie on the side or back of head.

Step5
Let fabric drape and arrange hair in desired style.


Ponytail

Step1
Wrap the folded scarf around ponytail and make a knot.

Step2
Wrap another two or three times and make a double knot.

Step3
For a different look, spread the fold out over a length of the ponytail


Rose Knot

Step1
Begin with a bias band fold on a square scarf.

Step2
Wrap around head and tie in front.

Step3
Knot as many times as possible. Tuck in ends.

Step4
Pull fabric out of knots to form a "Rose" effect.


Rosette Turban

Step1
Position the long folded edge along your forehead.

Step2
Bring both the ends together on one side of the head and tie them in a knot.

Step3
Make sure the back is tucked in to form a smooth edge.

Step4
Twist one end tightly, circle it around the knot to form a rosette and tuck it under the rosette to secure.

Step5
Repeat with the other end.


Shoulder Wrap

Step1
Begin with a triangle fold on a square scarf.

Step2
Position the scarf on the back with the two ends hanging in front.

Step3
Cross one end over the other.

Step4
Take the upper end around and behind the other.

Step5
Pull through and tighten. Knot can be to the side or in front.

Step6
Pull the sides over the shoulders.
